Marc Pelerin is a USATF Level 1 and a Dr. Jack Daniels certified running coach based out of Cherry Hill for the last nine years. Marc was dope enough to put together an 8 -week, beginner friendly training plan exclusively for the Running The AVE 5k.

Marcs plan is perfect for people that have some run experience, even if it’s been a few months or years. Not an experienced runner? Not a problem! You can still use the basic outline of the plan, but lower your mileage. Instead of starting with 2-3 mile runs in the first week, replace that with 20-30 minutes. Follow that pattern throughout and you’ll find yourself running 1,2, and 3 miles in no time.
